We pride ourselves on crafting products locally, steering away from overseas sweatshops every chance we get, even down to the smallest components.

These are the awesome souls that stitch transform fabrics into garments, package & send them, answer your calls and run our store in Bright. We want to ensure you know the people behind the brand with full transparency for what we do.

The brand began in Bright, Victoria. These mountains are home to our store, production and team. We’ve always cherished this close connection to the snow and mountains, its in our DNA.
In a last minute rush for a birthday gift, Jane constructed a shirt from fabric remnants in her workroom. This began the inspiration behind Espire, using remnants to create something unique and local.
We began our journey at our local market in Bright with little more than a handful of items and big dreams.
During the Summer Months, we ran a pop-up store using an empty ski shop right here in the centre of Bright. This was about testing the brand and beginning to develop the ideas of sustainability. At this point it still was a balance between other jobs and University. Here we began expanding beyond our shirt range and introduced our cotton tees.
After completing a degree in Melbourne we took the brand full time and opened the doors to our store in Bright and evolved into what we are today. A brand revolving around unique hand made pieces with our store being our design and production home on display for the world to witness.
We’re currently working hard on building an awesome online space with unique 3D product builders to offer the in-store experience online and we also wish to grow beyond Bright, with a plan for a second store coming along…the south coast perhaps?
