The part most brands miss is how the fabrics are made, not just what they are made of.

We aim to know where every fibre is grown, which we do achieve in over 90% of the fabrics we use. Our cottons & wools are sourced locally whilst our linens come directly from Belgium. Click on the icons bellow to learn more on our fabrics.
Natural fibers (cottons, wools, linens) occur naturally on our planet and can return to the soil once used. Our planet would be in a vastly better state if fashion removed mixed fibers where it could.

Knowing where our fabrics are grown and produced means we can know more directly about how they are made, and how to care for them. We speak directly to the producers of the fabrics to know how to best ensure top quality. This is especially helpful since over 80% of our fabrics are Australian made materials.

Everything we do to ensure that when fabrics enter our brand, they are from the most trustworthy, transparent and sustainable fields.

We have a zero waste policy, meaning that every scrap of fabric used, with a circular vision in mind.

No brand is sustainable without a system in place to minimise landfill of their own garments. We ensure a full end of life exchange with our garments.

Bendigo Woollen Mills is the largest manufacturer of hand knitting yarn in Australia. Their yarns are made on-site by their dedicated local team.
We use only the most luxurious natural fibres available. Their method of hank dyeing results in a softer, fuller end product. The wool produced is from Australian grown wool, usually from the NSW Highlands region.

GEC farming techniques enhance the ability for soil to sequester more carbon than the entire cotton growth lifecycle emits.
Soil carbon is the key driver to healthy soil; the key driver to soil carbon is plant life. Good Earth Cotton®’s farming practice is built upon this environment-first ethos.

When you see the Good Earth Cotton® mark, you can be certain it stands for climate positive, audited and traceable cotton.

Flax has its origins in nature and, accordingly, linen fabric is fully biodegradable after use.
All parts of the flax plant are used. Linseed is used for the next season. The shives are processed into chipboards. The long fibers are used for textiles.

Libeco Linen have been developing their expertise in flax for more than 160 years.
Flax is one of the most sustainable raw materials in the world. During growth, the flax plant receives no additional irrigation; rainwater is sufficient.
