The Michael beanie is named after the founder’s uncle and perfect for a cold day checking out the swells on the south coast.
Hand-knitted by our Nannas threads team, the Michael is a neat fit and a shorter style than our other beanies. Can be worn as a relaxed style for a neater and slimmer fit & finished with our signature ESPIRE logo.
Origin – Bendigo woolen mills.
Yarn – Mixture blend of wool, bamboo and textured fiber.

Knitted by the nannas of espire
These pieces are hand-knitted by the most amazing Nannas of ESPIRE. We provide the materials from local woollen mills along with the patterns (each one named after staff members) and they get to work on the softest beanies ever!

Locally spun natural fibres
Our wool and other natural fibres are locally spun at Bendigo Woollen Mills, a place of true Australian heritage and history. Using Australian grown wool, this mill is the largest in the country as it's also combined with Wangaratta Woollen mills (so close to us!).

the future is circular
This label signifies that this product is part of our circular system named [R]ESPIRE[D], which is our answer to building our brand into the future with minimal environmental impact. This product is able to be recycled in store, where it will be repaired, dyed and put into our second hand system. If the product is too old, we will shred it down to up-cycle it into new fibres or stuffing for our door snakes.
