our goal is 100% fabric usage with minimal impact on the planet, but we go beyond that.

We ensure nearly all of our fabrics and components are the best quality from reliable local sources. We therefore pay a premium price and it is our goal that nothing from this turns into waste, even down to the smallest off-cut

We imagine our fabric usage like a tree. It begins with the base- (the main product) then begins to branch out into smaller and smaller pieces as they work their way up the tree into different off-cuts.
Our BAD BATCH collection is the first main stop for our tee off-cuts, being rebuilt into purpose designed garments around our larger cutting scraps.

You’ll notice when your order arrives its wrapped neatly into a home compostable satchel, with the garment wrapped in up-cycled pattern paper and tied using some of the salvage edges of our fabrics. Even down to the tiniest detail we ensure nothing is not only wasted, but we’re also finding new ways to utilise old patterns that have been discarded.

The salvage ends of our fabrics are collected & balled up. This ensures even the smallest off-cuts have purpose and reduces our fabric wastage to near zero. We sell these in-store and online to be used as:

Our goal that we are currently working towards with our remaining scraps is to have them seperated, shredded and respun into new fabrics. This is a bigger process that is years in the making but we working towards it.
We currently seperate all of our base fleece and Jerseys into colours, readying and bagging these pieces for this process to occur.

Everything we do to ensure that when fabrics enter our brand, they are from the most trustworthy, transparent and sustainable fields.

We have a zero waste policy, meaning that every scrap of fabric used, with a circular vision in mind.

No brand is sustainable without a system in place to minimise landfill of their own garments. We ensure a full end of life exchange with our garments.
